Adriana Ossi is a 14-year-old violinist whose interest in music has grown deep with the teaching of Professor Melissa Barrett and Mrs. Aurelia Duca. She joined the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra’s (JSYO) Foundation Strings at age 7. The following year she was accepted to Premier Strings where she served as Concertmaster. Adriana then joined the Repertory Orchestra for two seasons where she participated as Assistant Principal of Second Violins, and subsequently advanced into the Philharmonic Orchestra as Assistant Principal of Second Violins at age 11. She has played in the Philharmonic first violins section for three years and was a finalist in JSYO’s 2023 and 2025 Young Artists Concerto Competition.
Adriana has won several first prize awards in international competitions. Recently, she won first prize in the 2024 OPUS Music Competition state level and third prize on the national level.
Adriana’s other interests include mathematics, crocheting, and horseback riding. Her favorite times are spent outdoors with her family.
