Ainsley Jones, a rising junior at the Baltimore School for the Arts, is a cellist from Baltimore, Maryland. Ainsley has been playing the cello for 10 years and currently studies under Pei Lu. At school, she performs in chamber ensembles, full orchestra and string orchestra, and as a soloist. She has performed at retirement homes, festivals, farmers’ markets and for fundraisers in support of the environment and animal shelters. In addition, she has served as Principal Cellist in both the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area.
