Alan Stoupel, 14, is a percussion student of Nonoka Mizukami and violin student of Christian Tremblay at the Preparatory division of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Alan started making music with drums and violin at the age of three. As a violinist, he is a member of the Performance Academy Program and the Peabody Young Artist Orchestra, and was selected for the Fran G. Zarubick Honors Recital as a winner of the 2022 ans 2024 Spring Honors Competitions. Born in Berlin, Germany, Alan attends Baltimore, School for the Arts. He speaks fluent English, French and German, and is currently learning Russian and Hebrew.
