Violinist, Alanna Schubert is an avid chamber musician from Waco, Texas. Currently studying under Sibbi Bernhardsson at Oberlin Conservatory, she has participated in several festivals including Credo Chamber Music, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival, Heartland Chamber Music Festival, and the McDuffie Center for Strings Labor Day Festival. Through these experiences, she was granted opportunities to play alongside Lawrence Dutton of the Emerson Quartet, David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Robert McDuffie, esteemed concert violinist. Recent performances include solos with the Temple Symphony in Texas, Academie Musique Festival Orchestra, and the Waco Symphony Youth Orchestra as concerto competition winner.
