Andrew Maxwell is a violinist and vocalist pursuing a Bachelor of Music at Oberlin Conservatory under Sibbi Bernhardsson. A prizewinner in competitions across California and Ohio, he has performed with the CIM Pre-College Chamber Program and attended festivals such as Green Mountain, Interharmony, and Chautauqua, where he served as principal second violin in the orchestra. He has played in masterclasses with Paul Kantor and Philip Setzer and studied sonata repertoire with Carolyn Warner. Also an accomplished vocalist, he studies voice with Timothy Lefebvre at Oberlin. Outside of music, he enjoys swimming, cooking, and reading.
