Anne Ziegler is a pianist currently completing her masters in collaborative piano at The University of Cincinnati College – Conservatory of Music, where she is a graduate assistant in vocal accompanying. Anne is proficient in the viola as well and is pursuing a collaborative degree where she can best utilize her multiple talents and passions.
Anne was a two-time winner of the Hillsdale College Concerto/Aria Competition in 2020 and 2021. She placed in the Keyboard Arts Festival and the Schmitt Piano Competition in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Anne attended Hillsdale College, where she studied piano performance and English Literature. She was awarded the academic Kibbey End Scholarship and the Bach End Music Scholarship for vocal accompanying and playing viola in the Hillsdale College Symphony. She played in various chamber ensembles, was an orchestral keyboardist, performed for the opera workshop production, and ran her own piano teaching studio. She currently freelances as a pianist and violist in the Cincinnati area.
