Autumn Rinaldi is a fourteen-year-old cellist from Indian Hill, Ohio, and has been studying cello since age five. Originally from New York City, Autumn had an immediate emotional connection to the cello the first time she heard one being played and begged her parents for one of her own. Autumn has attended various camps and festivals, including the Senior Division of Greenwood Chamber Music Camp, Point CounterPoint, and the Chamber Music Connection Summer Festival. Last year, Autumn placed in the quarterfinals of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition (Jr. Woodwind Division). Autumn has participated in and been recognized in a number of solo competitions – most recently she won second prize in the 2021 Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Autumn is a member of the Indian Hill High School Orchestra as well as the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra. She also participates in the Cincinnati Starling Project under the direction of Kurt Sassmashaus in Cincinnati, OH. Autumn is currently a student of Dr. Sarah Kim.
