Charlotte Balaze is a 17 year old from Orange County, California. Since starting cello at three years old, she has been inseparable from the cello and is currently studying with Sarah Koo. She especially enjoys being part of The Endpin Project, where she is a part of a cello ensemble made up of other young cellists in her area and they use the gift of music to give back to the community around them. Most recently, she helped organize a fire relief donation drive for the California wildfire relief. Aside from music, she is part of the creative writing conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts. When she isn’t playing cello, you might find her glued to a book, writing in her journal, or rewatching a Ghibli movie. Otherwise, she’ll be spacing out while listening to any variety of music — from classical to kpop — and most likely will be accompanied by an order of jasmine milk tea with boba.
