Gaven Finnon, a rising sophomore at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, began his musical journey at the age of four. He studies with Miriam Bolkosky. He has played in several Massachusetts orchestras, including the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra, the MMEA Eastern District Orchestra, and currently, the New England Conservatory’s Youth Symphony Orchestra. An enthusiastic chamber musician, Gaven has attended Berkshire Summer Music, Point CounterPoint, and Rivers School Conservatory. He will attend the Green Mountain Festival this summer. Beyond music, his interests include pitching for his high school baseball team, cooking, and violin making.
