Kaede Suzuki

2022 Piano

Kaede Suzuki is a freshman at William Mason High school in Mason, Ohio. She has been learning the piano performance seriously since 11 years old.

She won numerous competitions such as Nathaniel Patch Piano Competition 2018 (2nd Place) Tri-State piano Concerto competition (1st Place), CCM piano competition 2018 (1st Place), Julia Bartlett Concerto Competition 2019 (3rd Place), Buckeye Competition 2021 in SW Ohio division (2nd place: Runner up) and won three Gold medals of 2019 OMTA Audition Festival, American Protégé International Music Talent Competition Fall 2021 (1st Place), Charleston International Piano Competition 2021 (2nd Place), American Protégé International String and Piano Competition 2022 (2nd Place), Charleston International Classical Music Competition 2022 (3rd Place), Graves Piano Competition 2022 Senior Solo Division 4th Place, 2 gold medals and a silver medal for Audition Festival, and won honorable mention for Buckeye Audition 2022. She is currently a participant of Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition 2022 as a semi-finalist.

She had opportunities of having a master class by Mr. Frederic Chiu in 2019 and a piano lesson by CCM Graduate School Piano Professor Eugene Pridonoff in June, 2021.

She has selected as the pianist for the Top Mason High School Band to perform piano concerto at 2022-2023 Wind Symphony Midwest Conference in Chicago in this December.

Her performance at Carnegie Hall, NY has scheduled on December 28th, 2022. Her second time performance at Carnegie Hall has already been planned in 2023.

She was selected as the pianist for the top band of William Mason High School and will perform a piano concerto for the band at Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago this December.

She enjoys to have some mini recital at hospitals and senior care facilities locally.

Her favorite pianists are Evgeny Kissin, Mitsuko Uchida, Kyohei Sorita, Yuja Wang, and Martha Argerich.

She has been learning piano performance from Dr. Polina Bespalko for 3.5 years since 2018. She started her piano study from Dr. Jackson Leung since April, 2022.
