Katrina Wolfe

2024 Cello Festival

Katrina Wolfe is an upcoming sophmore at the Peabody Conservatory where she studies cello with Alan Stepansky. At Peabody, she performs in a flute, cello, piano trio, a string quintet, the Peabody String Sinfonia, and the Peabody Symphony Orchestra.  Playing cello for twelve years, she has won awards around the South-Central Pennsylvania region through the Lancaster Women’s Symphony Association, the York Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Dallastown Area High School.  She has attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute where she studied with Hyun-Min Lee and the Interlochen Arts Camp as a participant in the selective Advanced String Quartet Program and having studied with Natalie Helm. She has performed in masterclasses with Kangho Lee, Astrid Schween, and Hai-Ye Ni. Katrina plays in professional musical pits at the Fulton Theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is a featured cellist at local churches, and is a free-lance cellist. In high school, she participated in the York Youth Symphony Orchestra and has played in the Pennsylvania District, Regional, and State Orchestra Festivals.
