Lucas Ralston lives in Iowa City, Iowa, and has been playing cello since the age of five. He loves playing in both chamber and orchestral settings, and hopes to continue in both of these through college and professional life. Lucas’s current teacher is Laura Shaw at the Preucil School of Music, with whom he is currently working on Saint Saens Cello Concerto in A minor. He hopes to go to college and double major in cello and history.
