Sabine Rhodes Han began playing violin at the age of 4, studying with Margaret Gutierrez. She is currently studying with Claude Sim, Associate Concertmaster of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She will be an 8th grader at Denver School of the Arts where she majors in Orchestra and has served as Concertmaster on multiple occasions. In 2023 Sabine attended the PPSI summer camp (Denver, CO) and in 2024 attended the Lamont Summer Academy (Denver University) where she was chosen to play in the solo honors recital, whilst studying with Igor Pikayzen and Eric Peterson. Sabine’s first solo performance was in 2024 where she played with the Denver School of the Arts orchestra. She has been in the Denver Young Artists Conservatory Orchestra since 2022 where she has served as Concertmaster, been awarded honorable mention in their concerto competition twice, and was the featured soloist in the Nocturne of Khachaturian’s Masquerade Suite. This fall she will play in the Denver Young Artists Orchestra and will be touring Germany and Austria with the orchestra in summer 2026.
