Violinist Sarah Munson, a native of Bowling Green, Ohio, is a rising senior violin performance major at Bowling Green State University, currently studying with Dr. Caroline Chin. While at BGSU, she has been a member of the auditioned Fulton String Quartet for the past two years where she played the viola her first year. She is also a member of the BGSU Philharmonia Orchestra, where she has performed a large number of contemporary works. She is currently a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. In addition to her endeavors at BGSU, Sarah has attended several music camps and festivals, including Interlochen Fine Arts Camp in 2019, Rocky Ridge Music Center Young Artist Seminar in 2021, and Brevard Music Summer Institute in 2022.
Outside of violin, Sarah enjoys singing in choirs, playing the piano, going to coffee shops, cooking, travelling, and crocheting.
