Born in Zhanjiang, China, Sophia stared taking lessons at the age of 5, and continues to study with Ms. Rose Reidmiller-Gowda. Having just finished the 2022 – 2023 season with the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra she is looking forward to auditioning for next season. Outside of music Sophia enjoys mathematics, baking/sugar art, and having fun with her Sister. As a homeschooler, she will be entering 11th grade in fall of 2023. Sophia wants to pursue music and mathematics in college.
