2024 Violin B

I was born in Tainan City in 2003 and studied in the Music Department of National Tainan Girls’ High School. Currently studying in the third year of the Department of Music at National Taiwan University of Arts, majoring in violin, studying under Professor Yu-Feng, Huang and previously under Professor Wei-Neng, Yang.

I had the privilege of attending master classes with professors such as Akika Hayakawa, William Wei, Netta Hadari, and Thomas Christian. Additionally, I attended chamber music master classes with Nicholas Carthy and Nai-Yuan Hu.

During my academic journey, I have received the following honors:

– Second place in the 2016 National Student Music Competition “Piano Quintet”

– Second place in the 2018 National Student Music Competition “String Quartet”

– Performed at Tainan University Concert Hall on December 4, 2021, playing Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 Op.63 Mov.3

– Performed at Tainan No. 1 Middle School Concert Hall on November 13, 2020, performing Igor Stravinsky’s “Symphonia Divertimento” Mov.1

– Performed at Tainan Girls’ High School Concert Hall on April 29, 2019, playing Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 KV. 219 Mov. 1

– On December 8, 2020, he served as the concert concertmaster of the Tainan Girls’ High School Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 and the Egmont Overture

– Participate in the Saarburg International Music Festival in 2023

– Performances at the National Concert Hall on 23 May 2024, including Rachmaninov: Piano Trio No. 1 in G minor and first violin in Mendelssohn String Quintet No. 2 in B flat major, Op. 87

– On May 25, 2024, will be the concert concertmaster of the National Taiwan University of Arts Symphony Orchestra, with performances including Edward Strauss: Bahn Frei, Op.45 Polka & Johann and Joseph Strauss: Pizzicato Polka & Johann Strauss: Thunder and Lightning, Op.324 & Johann Strauss Jr.: Radetzky-Marsh, Op.228

– On June 2, 2024, will be the concert concertmaster of the National Taiwan University of Arts Symphony Orchestra, with performances including Richard Wagner: Tannhäuser Overture and Heri Tomasi: Concerto for Alto Saxophone Orchestra & Franchise Liszt: Piano Concerto No. 1 in E major – flat major, S124
