The Miró Quartet is one of America’s most celebrated string quartets, having performed throughout the world on the most prestigious concert stages. For twenty-five years the Miró has performed a wide range of repertoire that pays homage to the legacy of the string quartet while looking forward to the future of chamber music by commissioning new works and collaborating with some of today’s most important artists.
The Miró return to Cincinnati to present this special concert featuring a quartet by Beethoven and the Ohio premiere of “Home” by Kevin Puts, commissioned for the Miró Quartet. After intermission, the Miró will be joined by old friends Cho-Liang Lin, Felicity James, Masumi Per Rostad, and Alan Rafferty, Artistic Director of the Ascent International Chamber Music Festival.
We are thrilled to announce that we are hopeful that Cho-Liang Lin will be joining us for some of this program in lieu of his cancelled concert due to Covid.
This is a ticketed event, visit Event Brite to secure your tickets for this or any other concert.
