Hudson, Heritage & Harmony

Celebrate the rich musical traditions that have shaped America in this special program featuring artists of the Ascent Music Festival alongside singers from Christ Church Episcopal. From the sounds of the Revolutionary era to the expressive voices of Florence Price and Rebecca Clarke, the program reflects a diverse and evolving cultural landscape. The evening culminates in Dvořák’s radiant Sextet, inspired by his time in America and the musical spirit he encountered here—a fitting tribute to heritage, community, and shared artistry.
