Theodora Bowne, aged twenty two, first began playing cello at the age of five, and recently graduated from Miami University (Ohio) where she pursued a degree in cello performance studying with Dr. Sarah Kim.  A native of Cleveland, she studied extensively with Rachel Bernstein and Pamela Kelly, and was a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra, and a frequent participant in programs provided by the Cleveland Cello Society and the Cleveland Composer’s Guild.
